CS2 Coach is a performance hub for Counter-Strike 2. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it's used.
When you sign in with Steam, we receive your Steam ID and public profile information (name, avatar) from Steam's login flow. When you connect FACEIT, we receive your FACEIT account identifier and match metadata for matches you play. You can also create an account with just an email address, using a magic sign-in link instead of a password.
CS2 Coach imports Steam matchmaking demos automatically once set up, and syncs FACEIT match metadata after you connect FACEIT (the demo itself still has to be uploaded manually for FACEIT matches). You can also upload `.dem` files directly through Match Lab.
From these demos we derive match history, round-by-round statistics, player and team statistics, coach insights, achievements, and utility analysis. This derived data is stored so it can be shown back to you across sessions — it's the core of the product.

As of this writing, CS2 Coach does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. If that changes, this page will be updated.

Isolated Match Lab uploads are kept separate from your profile statistics, Coach Insights, achievements, and leaderboard standing — they don't silently change your canonical performance record.
